Metal Alto

There is nothing like the sound of the classic medium chamber on alto. I always loved that as a player, but I was curious if I could marry that sound to the increase in stability that using metal affords, so I tried it. The results are fantastic! You still get the fat sound firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, but with more power available. Also for those of us who spend a lot of time playing on metal tenor mouthpieces, the narrower beak is more comfortable and gives you a little more flexibility of tone.
