The NYZ Soprano saxophone moutphiece is a large chamber, open throated piece, like the 'slant signiature' Otto Link, Buescher, Meyer Bros, etc.. The short, medium height baffle and steep floor angle work in concert with the large chamber to give this peice a wide, clear, crisp voice with plenty of overtones. Compared with the FLZ Soprano, the NYZ has a clearer, wider sound. The large chamber and open throat makes this the piece to have for vintage instruments. Made from Zinner ebonite. Available in tip openings from .050" (5) to .072" (8).
